Can I use a water softener with Crosswater products?

Yes, water softeners can be used with Crosswater products. Water softeners have multiple benefits:

Prevents limescale:

Water softeners reduce the mineral content in the water, preventing limescale buildup on shower heads, tiles, and glass doors, which can be difficult to clean.

Prolongs lifespan:

By reducing limescale, water softeners can help your shower head, taps and other fixtures last longer, as scale buildup can clog cartridges and hoses and corrode them. 

If you have any limescale buildup, we recommend mixing water with white household vinegar or lemon juice to remove, then wash clean with fresh water and dry with a microfiber cloth.

Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach and alkaline-based cleaners, including ‘Chrome safe’ cleaners as the chemical composition of these can change over time.
