Marketing Executive - Showerwall

Summary of duties

A dynamic and integral role within the Showerwall Team, the Marketing Executive plays a key part in driving sales growth and ensuring impactful marketing execution. This role is responsible for leading and delivering key marketing projects, supporting a broad range of marketing activities, and assisting in the development and management of promotional collateral and marketing communications.

As Marketing Executive, you will take ownership of executing New Product Development (NPD) plans, coordinating marketing initiatives, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and suppliers to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns that enhance brand presence and drive engagement. From content creation and campaign management to digital marketing and event coordination, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute strategies that resonate with our target audience.

A core aspect of this role involves analysing market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to refine marketing strategies and identify new opportunities for growth. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing marketing materials that support sales teams and distribution partners, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and commercial objectives.

Key areas of responsibility 

  • Support the Sales team with impactful marketing communications and promotional activities across all customer and market sectors.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to craft targeted promotional strategies that enhance engagement and drive sales.
  • Identify and implement innovative ways to showcase products, differentiating the company from competitors in the marketplace.
  • Plan, execute, and measure the success of marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
  • Provide insightful, data-driven feedback on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotions, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Administer and align all marketing activities with pre-approved budgets, optimising spend for maximum return on investment.
  • Ensure brand integrity by maintaining consistency across all marketing materials, channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Assist with creation of CGI assets and photography to support high-quality visual marketing content.
  • Oversee and approve marketing materials produced by external agencies under guidance of Marketing Manager, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Organise and coordinate exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events to maximise brand visibility.
  • Support new product launches, ensuring seamless integration into sales and marketing strategies.
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed of relevant marketing activities and initiatives.
  • Undertake additional marketing-related projects to support wider business objectives.
  • Contribute to the evolution of marketing strategies, identifying trends and opportunities for future growth and direction.

 

Expertise

  • Proven experience in managing and executing marketing campaigns that drive engagement and sales.
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, competitive differentiation, and market trends.
  • Ability to develop targeted marketing strategies for both B2B and B2C environments, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and content management tools to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Experience with basic design and editing software to support creative content production.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret marketing data, assess campaign performance, and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities and streamlining processes.
  • Ability to drive innovation within the business by advocating for new marketing approaches and creative initiatives.
  • Confidence in developing and presenting marketing strategies to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear, engaging, and brand-aligned messaging across all platforms.

  • Contribute to customer retention, acquisition, and brand growth through targeted marketing strategies.

Skills & experience

  • Minimum of two years in a marketing role, with hands-on experience in campaign management and execution.
  • Ability to manage promotional activities across different market sectors.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint, for reporting and presentations.
  • Experience with marketing tools, CRM platforms, and digital campaign management.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities and efficiencies.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering strong collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled at resolving challenges and implementing creative solutions to drive marketing success.
